Whether you’re just starting CPAP therapy or you’ve been managing it for years, our team helps
confirm exactly what you need, checks your coverage, and guides you through the process from
beginning to end. Everything happens virtually, right from home in Corpus Christi.

I have been a customer of Wise Owl since they opened in Marble Falls, having tried them out because of, let's just say some issues and attitudes at another local supplier. We were meant at the door by Ian and spoken to by everyone there! They found the right bi-pap device and even gave me classes, communicated with my Dr, helped me load everything and sent a technician to my home when i had mechanical problems with the device. Also I have to say we have been back many times and they have been pleasant and their equipment and supplies are not sky high.+0Posted on Google![]()

Wise Owl is the very best when it comes to health equipment (aka geezer gear). They will handle all of the Medicare and insurance paperwork, which is worth a lot. I recently was diagnosed with sleep apnea and resisted having to do anything. Chris Owens took great care to make sure I understood why I needed the apparatus, spent time explaining all of my options, helped me select the most comfortable mask, and made sure I understood how everything fit together and how to use it most effectively. I appreciated the time Ms Owens took to turn something I dreaded into a positive experience.Posted on Google![]()

Frequently Asked Questions
How often will Medicare actually replace my CPAP supplies?
It depends on the item. Mask cushions are typically eligible about once a month, disposable filters roughly twice a month, and full masks and tubing usually every three months, while headgear and humidifier chambers are typically covered around every six months. Your exact schedule depends on your specific plan.
Do I have to pay anything out of pocket for replacement supplies?
In most cases, yes, a portion. After your Part B deductible is met, Medicare typically covers 80% of the cost, leaving you responsible for the remaining 20%, unless you have supplemental coverage.
Can I get supplies replaced early if mine wear out faster than expected?
Not usually through Medicare. Ordering before your item’s eligibility date generally isn’t covered, and you’d be responsible for the full cost if you order ahead of schedule.
Do I need a new prescription every time I reorder supplies?
Most plans require an active, current prescription on file, but you typically don’t need a brand-new one for every single reorder as long as your existing documentation is valid.
What happens if I don't use my CPAP enough to stay compliant?
Medicare requires documented usage, generally at least four hours a night on most nights, to continue coverage. Falling short can affect whether ongoing supplies and equipment stay covered.
