CPAP Machines, Masks, Supplies, and Support
How do I get started with CPAP through Wise Owl?
Once you have a prescription, you call us and we take it from there. We’ll walk you through your machine options, get your insurance handled if needed, and make sure you’re set up correctly before you leave. You’re not just picking up equipment. You’re getting a setup that’s meant to actually work for you at home.
How do I know which CPAP machine I should get?
Most people don’t need ten options. They need the right one. We look at your prescription, how you plan to use the machine, and what will be easiest for you to stay consistent with. Then we recommend what makes sense and explain it clearly. No guessing, no overcomplicating it.
What machines do you carry?
We carry a full range of CPAP machines, including standard CPAP, Auto CPAP (APAP), and travel units like the AirMini. We also work closely with ResMed equipment, so if you’re looking for models like AirSense or need something compact for travel, we can help you get set up with the right option based on your prescription and how you plan to use it.
Can you help me pick a mask?
That’s one of the biggest things we help with. If the mask isn’t right, nothing else matters. We’ll look at how you breathe, how you sleep, and what’s going to stay comfortable through the night. Then we fit it properly so you’re not going home guessing.
What if my mask doesn’t feel right once I start using it?
Then we fix it. That’s normal. Masks need adjustments, and sometimes people need a different style. What you shouldn’t do is keep struggling with something that doesn’t feel right. Call us, come in, and we’ll get it corrected.
Do you let people try masks before buying?
Yes. We offer a try-before-you-buy mask program so you’re not stuck with something that doesn’t work for you. It’s a much better way to get the right fit the first time.
What kind of support do I get after I get my CPAP?
You’re not on your own. If something feels off, if your mask starts leaking, if you’re not comfortable, you call us. Most issues are small and fixable when handled early. We’d rather help you adjust things than have you stop using your machine.
What if I’m having a hard time sticking with CPAP?
That usually means something in your setup needs to be adjusted. It could be the mask, the fit, or just getting used to it. We deal with this every day. You don’t need to figure it out alone. Reach out and we’ll work through it with you.
Do you help with CPAP supplies too?
Yes. We handle masks, cushions, tubing, filters, all of it. More importantly, we help make sure you’re getting the right supplies and not waiting too long to replace worn parts.
How do I know when to replace my supplies?
If your mask is leaking more, not sealing well, or just not feeling the same, it’s probably time. Most people wait too long, and that’s when problems start. We help keep you on track so your equipment keeps working like it should.
Do you have a supply program?
We do. It takes the guesswork out of replacements. You don’t have to remember timing or chase down parts. We help keep everything consistent so your setup stays in good shape.
Do you clean or service CPAP machines?
Yes. We offer a clean and check service to make sure your machine is working properly. If you’re using it every night, it’s worth keeping it in good condition.
Do you work with insurance and Medicare?
We do this every day. We’ll help you understand what’s covered, what’s required, and what to expect. We keep it straightforward so you’re not left trying to figure it out on your own.
Will I know my cost upfront?
That’s the goal. We talk through costs before anything moves forward so you’re not surprised later. If there’s something you need to know financially, we’ll go over it with you.
Do I have to be local to work with you?
No. We help patients across Texas. You can still get support, supplies, and guidance even if you’re not close to our store.
What makes Wise Owl different?
We don’t just hand you a machine and send you home. We stay involved. We help you get it set up right, keep it comfortable, and fix problems when they come up. That’s what makes the difference long term.
